GlobalSF: Nordic Innovation in SF

Leading San Francisco Bay Area companies, investors, thought leaders, and chefs joined GlobalSF on a food innovation tour to Sweden and Denmark in June to connect global innovation hubs, ideas, build partnerships, connect investment opportunities, and spark innovation.

Michelin starred chefs from San Francisco, Stockholm and Copenhagen collaborated and elevated conversations and experiences around food innovation through “consume to contribute” dinners in each city.

This past July, Global SF took over Shack15 to showcase companies that use cutting edge innovation that greatly impact our society’s dire need for a shared sustainability mission. Melibio, Karana, Rootless, Spero, Une Femme, Endless West, Compound Foods, Kuli Kuli, Fort Point, and Good Idea drinks all shared their products and methods, ranging from real honey made without bees, to molecule-up whiskey (which saves 94% water compared to a traditional process).
